You all have hopefully watched me play Call of Duty: Warzone on Twitch or YouTube. I am not the best by any means; I just love the game. So as much as I play, or not play, why would I choose to play in this odd way?
It is really very simple. Rather than being “downed” -in SOLO’s, you’re just killed. If you do happen to have self-revive, your enemy can assume you have it by you being downed instead of just killed. Because of this, your enemy can all-balls push you. In DUO’s, though, when you’re downed with self-revive, you’re enemy must assume you have a partner nearby. This can by you time to get back up.
Of course, playing DUO’s as a solo competitor is difficult because you will be out number the majority of the time. The right load-out can help transition targets just enough to keep you competitive even when outnumbered.
So what does my load-out look like when I am playing in this way?

There are a variety of ways that can give you some success as a solo player in a DUO’s Warzone match. Either a sub-machine gun class that allows you to swap weapons quickly, or an LMG class which allows you to kill two players in one cyclic rate fire. I’m sure there’s a case to be made for the other weapon classes as well. For me though, my SMG set-ups tend to work fine. Often I have an anti-armor option as my secondary as well.
